Taking a Proactive Approach to your Heart Health
Uncertainty About your Heart Should be a Thing of the Past.
Our preventive cardiology program assesses multiple risk factors, several advanced diagnostic imaging tests and a comprehensive blood lab panel to ensure that cardiovascular issues are detected and addressed before they become a problem.
An Electrocardiogram is a quick test that records the electrical activity of your heart and can help check for signs of heart disease.
Sotere Vascular Screening
A non-invasive procedure that can detect atherosclerosis (plaque build up in the arteries) before symptoms occur. This non-invasive test is more sensitive for vascular endothelial health than a stress echocardiogram.
We conduct a variety of lab tests to uncover many issues that cannot be detected through traditional techniques.
This test uses sound waves to create a live image of your heart so your doctor can see your heart beating and pumping blood including valve function and ejection fraction.
Gain a full understanding of your genetic predisposition to heart disease and other problems with genetic tests. This genetic test also gives insight into which drugs (if applicable) work with your genes.
All exams and testing are closely monitored by a trained and board-certified cardiologist who will be part of your heart health team to guide you.

Cardiovascular Conditions We Can Help With
Our tests and treatment programs can help identify and treat a wide-variety of cardiac conditions. Many of the conditions that our process can diagnose could become life-threatening if left untreated. When it comes to your heart, time and information are the most important ways to fight disease.
Also know as AFib or AF, this is an irregular heartbeat know as arrhythmia. It can be detected in-office through an EKG exam. Shortness of breath, dizziness and fatigue are common symptoms of AFib.
Coronary Artery Disease
CAD is a heat disease caused by narrowing arteries that are being blocked by the buildup of lipid plaque which restricts blood flow. This is determined by more than cholesterol alone! We utilize a non-invasive, in-office procedure called the Soterrogram to gain insight into health of your blood vessels. The first symptom of CAD may be your last.
High Blood Pressure
Hypertension is a condition where the blood pressure in your arterial walls is too high which can lead to many other diseases. Common symptoms include chest pain, fatigue, headache, vision problems and irregular heart rate. Checking your blood pressure regularly is recommended.
Peripheral Arterial Disease
PAD is a similar condition to CAD and is a narrowing of blood vessels specifically in the legs instead of the heart like CAD. This can give insight into coronary vessel health. Our Soterogram is an excellent test to gain insight into PAD and coronary artery disease.
Low Blood Pressure
Hypotension is when the blood pressure in your arterial walls is too low and while not a serious as Hypertension, it can still be an issue. Light-headedness, fainting, nausea and fatigue are common symptoms of hypotension.
Hyperlipidemia is when you have too much LDL cholesterol, or an imbalance between the different types of cholesterol in your blood. If untreated the condition can lead to cardiovascular health problems. High cholesterol by itself is not an indication to treat, but warrants further investigation.
